William Hill CEO Stays for 2 More Years

UK bookmaker and online gambling company William Hill CEO Ralph Topping announced he has extended his contract to keep him at the helm until 2015.
With another big announcement from the gambling giant, the public have been informed that Ralph Topping, Chief Executive Officer will continue in his role until the end of 2015. This has delighted chairman Gareth Davis, who has hinted that a successor would be sought internally as and when the need arises, but for the time being Topping is the man for the job.
Maintaining Stability
The company continues to go from strength to strength as the last few months have shown. They have achieved a big leap ahead of rivals in the gambling industry to become the first to join the FTSE100 since the departure of PartyGaming two years ago. This effectively stamps their authority as a major force in the industry.
The firm has not been idle in its quest for acquiring smaller companies and swallowing up the minnows. They recently bought out the joint venture share in their company held by Playtech. They have also purchased the Australian operation of one of their major rivals in the sportsbook arena, Sportingbet.
