Confederations Cup Final Set to Be Explosive
30th June 2013
Tonight's Confederation Cup final between hosts Brazil and World Champions Spain looks set to be an explosive match full of drama and thrills!
Anyone who loves the beautiful game of football will appreciate the incredible talent that will be on display tonight as the world champions take on one of the strongest teams in the world in a final that promises to be every bit as exciting in the flesh as it looks on paper. A betting person would be hard pressed to decide which way this game will go, such is the strength of each side and the depth of players they have at their disposal.
Betting on the Confederations Cup Final
You can place a bet on the match any time right up until the kick-off when you choose to bet online with one of the top sports betting sites of the high street bookies such as William Hill or Betfred, for instance. These guys make it so easy, you're probably going to wonder how you got along without them in the past!
As an example, Betfred have a special deal running if you fancy your chances with an outside bet. They are offering what they have termed "Double Delight" and also "Hat-Trick Heaven" which are pretty descriptive ways of saying if you can find a striker who is likely to score twice or three times, you are going to get some great odds!
Aside from that, there is also a range of striker "Fred" specials available to celebrate the rather aptly named striker! You can get 3/1 on Brazil to beat Spain within the full 90 minutes and 3 goals scored (or more) in the match. Brazil are 7/4 to win, Spain 8/5 to win or 12/5 on a draw.
Will Brazil Beat Spain?
That's the big question a lot of people are speculating on right now. After watching Spain struggle to overcome a determined Italian side in the semis (a match that had to be decided by penalties), the word is that they don't have what it takes to overcome a stronger, more determined and motivated Brazil side.
On the other hand, while Brazil are going into this final as clear favourites, you can't help but wonder if the Spanish side are playing mind games with their hosts and will come out with guns blazing and rip the heart out of what most people believe is the stronger side. Who knows for sure? We could just see the Spaniard march on to yet another piece of silverware to add to their already impressive hoard over the past few years.
Speculation aside, for football lovers, this will be a truly entertaining and watchable FIFA Confederations Cup Final that you really can't miss at any cost. Who will win? You'll just have to tune into BBC1 at 11:00pm tonight to find out for sure!
